I. Introduction

Welcome to Bright Smile Dental Clinic. Within more than 20 years experiences in distributing and improving dental health services in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, we strongly remain our main vision of providing the best quality of treatment, services, and the lowest price for overall patients both local and international. II. Orthodontic

1. Orthodontic or braces is the area of dentistry concerned with preventing and correcting irregularity of the teeth and craniofacial growth, development of dentition and occlusion.

2. Who should have received an orthodontic treatment? The answer is everyone(male, female, even young or old) who came up with malocclusion, unaesthetic or poor in function.

Here are some examples of malocclusion and it disadvantages:

Crowding: hard to clean, unaesthetic smile, food stagnation
Increase Overjet : difficult to close mouth, speak, swallow, and front teeth are easily chipped or knocked out.
Decrease Overjet : Chin sticks out causing unbalanced profile view, problem with mastication, TMJ, speaking an swallowing is also affected.
Deep bite: Upper front teeth bite too far down cause gummy smile,

3. What are the processes, how long does brace take and how much does it cost?

Collection record which is included Panoramic &Chephalometric X-ray, intra and extra oral photograph, and study model in the first visit.
If there is agreement between patients, they can have braces on second visit. And the patient has to come and see us one time in a month.
Duration of braces depends on severity of the case after we diagnosis. Normally, it ranges from six months to two years

After took out braces, patients have to wear retainer at home.

* Treatment fees are started from 600$ to 2500$ base on the cases. Patient can pay us 30% on the day having braces and the rest will be divided in to monthly.

4. To sum up, there are advantages of having braces:

To improve dento-facial appearance.
To correct the occlusal function of the teeth
To eliminate occlusion that could damage the long-term health of the teeth and periodontium.
To improve mastication and speech, as well as overall health, comfort and self-esteem

III. Operative Dentistry

1.What are the options available for your vital teeth having a cavity or decay but no pain?? After we removed the cavity, we can restore it back with 4 choices:

Composite – light cure filling: natural tooth color, common used with anterior teeth.

Amalgam filling: metal color, strong, and common used with posterior teeth.

GIC: White and pink color are available, fluoride release and common used with deep cavity and fo

Inlay/Onlay: is a casting- filling. Natural tooth color, absolutely strong, fit, long life stand and good anatomical form. Suitable for medium and big cavity which is best choice ever among these four.

2.What if the tooth has big cavity and there is pain involved.??

Solution :

Root canal treatment and simple restoration, not so recommended.
Root canal treatment and a ceramic crown, widely recommended.

IV. Prothodontic

Prothodontic is covered a big area in dental field which plays an important role inreconstructing a new occlusion. It starts from a single crown to bridge, removable partial denture, and complete denture.They are known to be a simple task, but demand a skill, experiences technician and good cooperation patient; otherwise, we would not restored or achieved back a natural occlusion.

V. Oral Surgery

In surgery filed, our services range from simple tooth extraction up to oral surgery. Surgical removal of impacted teeth, wisdom teeth, apecoectomy, cellulites drainage, surgical removal of cyst, osteitist , Implant placement, and osteo-synthesis of mandible and maxillary fracture are performed by an oromaxillofacial surgeon.
